Maximise Your Online Potential: Sell More Online

This FREE event will provide a diverse range of retailers with insights around opportunities for digital retailing.

“No industry,” wrote Harvard Business Review at the close of 2018, “is failing faster than retail.” What the data shows however isn’t that retail is failing. Instead, it points to the now unignorable centre of commerce: customer choice – both offline and online. Modern customers want options to buy through multi-channels therefore traditional retailers need to know the many ways they can sell online.

This workshop will address the range of ecommerce channels retailers can use to succeed online by making clever decisions on where to sell. This event will address the changing face of high street retail, sharing tips and advice around ways to manage change in addition to providing delegates with practical information around online selling channels available to choose from including;

  • Custom built websites; platforms to choose from including WordPress, Magento | Speaker: Russel Crawford – Director at web agency Kobault,
  • Storefronts; Shopify, Wix and Woo Commerce | Speaker: Mark Kelso, Founder of Glaze Digital and Shopify ecommerce expert
  • Choosing marketplaces for selling online; eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Facebook Shop, Instagram Shop | Speaker: Niamh Taylor, Director of Digital Twenty Four

Host: Emma Gribben, MD of Digital by Emma and Google Accredited Trainer across Europe

Choosing the right social media for your business

This FREE event is aimed at helping retailers choose the right social media channels to grow their business.

With over 42 million social media users in the UK, retailers can use a range of social media channels to reach new customers who would not typically venture to their bricks and mortar store. There are many platforms to choose from and these are constantly developing.

Retailers need to know how to choose the right channels for their business and be aware of recent changes and new ways to captivate their audiences through an array of tools and tactics.

In this workshop we will be discussing the reasons why retailers need to be present and active on social media and the top social media channels to consider for your business. We will be sharing tips and advice on improving your social media content, video content, promoting engagement and maximising your efficiency online.
